"Our family absolutely loved Koora Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely cared for by the staff (especially Jason who has already reached out to me in advance to understand our arrival time) and fell in love with the setting, which is nestled beautifully into the mountain forest. The service was impeccable, and the view overlooking the Monteverde cloud forest from the restaurant was truly epic. The food was so fantastic that we ended up eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner there...

"What a unique stay! Bungalows are in the woods surrounded by nature. We felt secluded and enjoyed the wildlife all around us. The hiking trails were wonderful, and the staff friendly and helpful. The bungalows are clean and modern and come with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Also conveniently close to restaurants and shops. Loved it!"

"This was the most beautiful hotel and property I have ever stayed at! (Which I guess is reflected in the price...) Everyone was kind and lovely. The breakfast was amazing! The dinner options were excellent portions as well! Unfortunately we arrived the day before they closed the pool and hot tubs for maintenance."

"Hotel Belmar was the perfect place to stay in Monteverde. Since we were working remotely for most of our trip, the meeting rooms and Wi-Fi were excellent—quiet, comfortable, and reliable for video calls. The biggest surprise was the birdlife around the hotel. We actually saw more birds from the terrace than on some of the wildlife tours we took. "Kids voted this the best place we stayed! They enjoyed having their own private mezzanine complete with bean bags and games. We enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings. Basic supplies like coffee and cooking oil provided do you can easily self cater. "

"This was by far our favorite property we stayed at on our CR vacation which included 5 different hotels. This hotel was peaceful, felt private and truly dedicated to Mother Earth. The food was excellent. The night time hike tour was wonderful. Views are amazing. Wish we had booked it for more nights."

"This condo was so cute, modern, very clean, just wonderful. It is in a private location but didn’t feel too secluded for female travelers. I felt safe, parking was easy, handicapped accessible ground floor. Met the owner, very nice man, he clearly takes lots of pride in his home and offering a great stay to his guests. There were a few snacks and drinks provided which was nice. Perfect location to visit Monteverde. Price was reasonable. I had NO bug issues here, which if you stay in Monteverde...

"Clean and quiet; friendly and professional staff; pretty good breakfast, included. Opening/closing bathroom sliding door was a little difficult because no knob. Also heavy front room door had no knob in the inside so it was a little difficult to open it from inside."

"We loved our stay at your spacious little apartment. The room was perfect and the plants and trees there were beautiful. Our host, Arelys, was very knowledgeable and helpful in planning our outings. Her experienced husband took us on a night walk in the cloud forest and taught us a lot about the local flora and fauna. It was very educational and a lot of fun. Pura Vida! "

The server in the restaurant I forget his name but he was wonderful as well. We also did the avocado trail and it was nice but we went a little late so it started getting dark. Def recommend doing it earlier in the day. Overall, very clean and friendly staff. Recommend!"
