"We chose this hotel/pub as it was close to the Bombay Sapphire distillery, I think most people staying were there for the same thing. We were not too sure what to expect as their communication has been awful, I emailed several times over the last few months and had no response at all. I had emailed and asked for an inside room after reading several reviews saying that the outside stable rooms were dark and dingy; needless to say when we arrived we were booked into an outside room! The...

"Great place to stay, staff were excellent"

"A lovely cosy Pub , Hidden away just of the main road. Good food, Staff very attentative, A good atmosphere. Will be staying there again next year for the Retro festival weekend."

"But even the room is not wide but the room has a style which it is also clean and tidy"

"All the staff we met were lovely, helpful and so friendly. Tidy rooms and lovely place to eat"

"Vi måtte desværre køre videre for planlagt, men på vores ene nat på The Swan nåede vi at konstatere, at en dobbeltseng på 135 cm bredde ikke er godt nok. Desuden var fjedrene i madrassen så maste at vi kunne mærke sengebunden. Det fremgår at der er 2 hhv 3 minutters gang fra The Swan til navngivne spisesteder, vi mener snarere 30 minutter."

"The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the little extras including ironing board and hairdryer as well as fresh milk for the tea/coffee provided. Also the all necessary toiletries. The staff were also very friendly and helpful."

"Staff were lovely. Had a long drive and arrived on the cutoff for ordering dinner, but thankfully the staff were kind enough to still let us order. We had both dinner and breakfast, both were absolutely delicious. There was some games we could borrow which we enjoyed playing in the bar, only small disadvantage is the bar closed at 10:30. Room was very clean, stocked with tea and coffee and the extra pillows in the wardrobe was a nice addition. Overall, we had a very peaceful, relaxing stay."

"We have stayed here a couple of times , they go above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay, they also include an excellent breakfast plus another nice touch is the tipple in the room ,"

"The Dundas Arms is a warm welcoming hotel in an interesting setting between canal and river on the edge of a lovely village. The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed. The restaurant was busy with good service and a good menu of delicious food. The staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient. It was our diamond wedding celebration and we were well looked after and given complimentary bubbly to celebrate. We had a most enjoyable 3 days and consider Dundas an ideal country venue and...

"Clean and quiet room."

"We were looking for an overnight stop travelling back North from Southampton and came across here. There was a big extension being built to the front of the pub so parking was difficult but otherwise caused no inconvenience. We had 3 rooms and all were very comfortable and well equipped . What stood out about this place was the staff, all were genuinely lovely and friendly. Checked in and personally shown to our rooms. We ate at the pub and the food was quickly served and was simply delicious...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin. Friendly staff, great bar and dinner was amazing."

"We had a lovely stay at The Great Decoy. The weather was horrible unfortunately, but the pub was very cosy and welcoming with lovely open fires. Lovely food, great decor, lovely attention to detail including the gorgeous smelling toiletries provided. The bed was very comfy with lovely bedding. We will definitely return and also try out other pubs in the Chickpea Group."
