Nice little hotel

Nice little hotel. In a quite central location. Everything was very good, except from the breakfast. For most people it might be fine, but I find find it too low a standard.

Simple ok hotel when its not summer

No aircondition, ok room, ok staff, ok location, very simple breakfast. Unfortunately renovation of the restaurant and service of the elevator when we had our stay, which made a lot of noise.

Great Stay!!

Overall a great stay! Hotel room was very clean and comfortable, and actually bigger than expected. Also super close to bars, restaurants, and the tram! The staff was also super helpful and accommodating. If I were to go to Basel again, I might stay on the other side of the river, because I like that area more. But it’s super easy to travel in Basel with the tram! You can be anywhere within 10-15 mins.

The room itself was fine. Had what we needed. But the room was VERY noisy. And hot. We were forced to keep the windows open as there was no way to control the heat in the room and there were trams running and construction literally all night. Had a terrible sleep.

I booked this hotel last minute cause our train was late so we missed our connecting train! The staff wasn’t there at first but in their defense it was almost midnight and the kitchen crew was around and very helpful! They helped me out and it all worked out! The room was free at! A little small but it was still extremely clean and comfortable for two adults! I would definitely book with them again.

The hotel room I stayed in was not as pictured online. My room was a bit run down. The hotel does have rooms under construction so maybe there are other rooms that look like the pictures. Also there is not 24/7 receptionist. There was a lot of waiting inorder to check in. I thought my room was quite a bit dusty.

OK for a night in Basel. Warm welcome at reception and room was clean and functional, location of the hotel was good. Room was sold as "deluxe", however this just meant it was larger than the others based on customer reviews. Room felt tired. Bathroom had no window. Nothing luxurious about it!

Positiv: Fußläufig auf halbem Weg zwischen Basel Bad Bhf und Altstadt, Möglichkeiten für Einkauf und Frühstück in der Nähe, freundliches Personal, kostenloser Kaffee/Tee im Hotelrestaurant Negativ: Zimmer mit Einzelbett sehr klein, Bett (Matratze) weich und gewöhnungsbedürftig, warmes Wasser der Dusche funktionierte nicht Sonstiges: Auf Frühstück im Hotel kann man verzichten. Der Frühstücksraum müsste mal renoviert und modernisiert werden; übriges Hotel gut.
