Wonderful

Bardney Hall is simply exquisite. From beginning to end Colin was a wonderful host offering a complimentary drink upon arrival, a tour of the Hall and a delicious continental breakfast (loads of choice, great quality and fresh). I stayed in The Gold Room, a beautiful dual aspect room over looking the well manicured gardens. It has it’s own bathroom, with a roll top bath and separate shower, lovely fluffy white towels and excellent complimentary toiletries. I’m not one to give glowing reports about hotels, restaurants etc and if I find fault (which 99% of the time I do) I will say so in a review. I couldn’t fault anything at Bardney Hall, I was travelling alone, which I often find quite depressing and lonely, but a had an absolutely terrific stay and I cant wait to stay there again.

Lovely welcome by Colin and Thea. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful when the smoke detector kept beeping outside room and switched rooms.

Outstanding experience

Our stay exceeded all expectations. The surroundings are lovely and the house is beautiful. From when you arrive and are ushered into the drawing room for a welcoming drink, to the beautifully presented breakfast the next day you feel like a cosseted house guest. Nothing is too much trouble and there are lots of little touches that add to the experience. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Just need a good excuse to return.

Spotlessly clean Hotel, very welcoming owner who was helpful, very pleasant and interesting throughout our stay. The bedroom was excellent and the bed very comfy. Breakfast was lovely. All in all nothing to fault and the complementary drink on arrival was a very nice touch.

Lovely Stay for an Anniversary

This B&B is well worth the money paid. An excellent choice ! The location, hall, the soft furnishings, the 'welcome' and the fresh breakfasts make this a home from home. We were really happy with our stay and would recommend this for anyone. There is a flight of stairs which might make this difficult for less mobile people.

Lovely retreat.

We stayed here for four nights whilst our house was undergoing building work. We live exactly half a mile but it was a different world from our house where there was no electricity or water. We felt like we were staying with friends. The rooms are large and comfortable and the garden and grounds are lovely, very well maintained. We will be recommending Bardney Hall to friends and family.

Wow,wow,wow

Wow,wow,wow what a find this was. We arrived at this beautiful 300 year old house and was greeted at the door by Thea who welcomed us very warmly. Thea showed us around the lounges and breakfast room then up to our room (gold room) upon entering we were blown away by the large bedroom and bathroom and how beautiful it was. We had a view overlooking the beautiful well kept garden (we thought we had won the lottery). Everything is luxurious and extremely clean, with everything you could possibly ask for. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, Thea goes out of her way to ensure you have everything and more then you could possibly ask for. Thea’s eye for detail shone through throughout our stay. We will be returning

Beautiful house and great hospitality.

Met by Colin on arrival and despite being in pain from a bad ankle he was still happy to show us around. The Blue Room was large and comfortable and quite a step up from the other offerings we have experienced in the surrounding area. Continental breakfast the next day was great and it was nice to chat with the other guests. Overall highly recommended.

Fantastic stay

Absolutely fantastic stay at Bardney Hall. Nothing was to much and the hosts were very polite and accommodating. Rooms were exceptional and extremely clean. Will definitely be returning in the near future
