This hotel is old and someone tried to fix it up themselves, but it didn't turn out very well. When we got there, the sheets were dirty and stained, and one of the blankets had a burn mark from a cigarette. The bad do-it-yourself job is everywhere, with paint splattered all over the mirrors and walls. If you're just looking for a basic hotel, then this is the one for you. The shower head was really high, so water splashed all over the floor since the curtain couldn't keep it contained. They didn't have breakfast available, and they charged us an extra $150 just in case we accidentally damaged something. If you pay with cash and forget about the charge, they keep your money (that's not fair, but let's move on). At least it was quiet and the air conditioning worked well once we figured out how to use it. The housekeeper came and quickly changed the sheets and blanket when I told the front desk about the problems we had.

The staff were extremely pleasant and nice. My biggest thing is cleanliness. I checked in and was made to sign that I was in a no smoking room. Got to the room and someone had definitely smoked in the room cause I am a non smoker and I could smell the smoke. I reported it to the front desk and was told it was a smoking room. I said okay. Just did not want to be held liable for the smell of smoke in the room. The towels were stained. I reported that to the front desk and the gentleman told me rooms that are smoking rooms get different towels and that is why my towels were stained. He did give me a new set of towels that were a little better. When I checked out I could see “smoking” written on some of the envelopes the key cards were in. My envelope did not have “smoking” written on it so I believe I was not told the truth. The microwave in my room was rusted. The desk clerk at the hotel told me that was because other guests tried to microwave things they should not have. I told him that would not had led to a rusted microwave. Everything stated here was brought to the attention of the front desk clerk. The hotel is dated. If you are looking for a overnight quick stay this might be okay but if you need a updated hotel this is not it.

Best Hotel in Barnwell
Best place to stay in Barnwell. The facility was very clean, well lit, and conveniently located near all of the shopping and food in town. Rick and his staff were very accommodating and checkin and check out was a breeze. I highly recommend you stay here.

Mattress was terrible, lumpy and way too soft. There were three small bed pillows, each about 14 inches square, on the king size bed. I asked for additional pillows, but was told there were none available. The room appeared clean, but the bottoms of my white gym socks became very dirty from walking around the room with my shoes off.

Very Disappointed.
Sheets were worn looking. Cigarette stains in blanket. Furniture was moved out of my room without my permission and not put back. My things were placed on a iron board or chair. Found condoms left in the room. Headboard was removed from the bed. Hair found in the bathtub and floor. I got back to the room late and was not able to find another hotel in the area that i hoped was decent. Ended up staying the night unable to sleep even after spraying the room with lysol.

This is not the right feedback, You already aware during check inn that we are under the renovation for changing new furniture in all the hotel rooms,after 1 day later you complain and I offer you to refund if you choose to checking out for you last night, it was 6 pm in the evening i said that ( no hotel can do that) but you choose to stay and I still give you 25 refund during the check out , also you promised that you not going to write any feedback , you still put this nagative feedback. This is not a good human being.Every customer is staying in a hotel. Nobody complain except you about this furniture that we moved because we are under renovation and changing new furniture,

We booked for a standard king bed room and we were upgraded to the suite. It was very huge and very spacious with a hot tub. The room was very clean. Enjoyed the hot tub.

Had no choice bc was out of town ...slept in my clothing on my back with my huddy on...I can say more but I digress....the parent company of this place needs to do something...just because it is a small town doesn’t mean the place should be run down.

This hotel was disgusting. I only turned on the light switch in my room before immediately checking out. There was a used razor on the bed, cigarette burns in the comforters and chairs, blood on the lampshade, body hair (the worst kind) on the toilet and in the shower, mold on the bathroom ceiling, and the room was so thick with moisture that I could barely breathe. On top of that, there was a poorly executed patch job behind the door where it had been kicked/flung open numerous times and pry marks on the door. I felt so absolutely unsafe and disgusted by this hotel that I opted to instead sleep in my car. Gross and definitely do not recommend! There are far better hotels available in Aiken only about a half hour away.

The property was horrendous!! We were scheduled to stay 2 nights but checked after 1 one night because I was concerned about the health of myself and grandchildren. There was mold all the bathroom, tiles pulled away from the baseboard with mold behind it, could tell if the bolts holing the toliet seat were rusted or just filthy but they were BROWN, an overwhelming smell of mold in the unit and no breakfast or compensation for free breakfast as advertised! We checked after 1 night instead of 2 and I incurred the expense to stay at another hotel. This was booked through Expedia and after chatting with corporate they refused to make any adjustments though I could provide picture and receipt for new hotel. Just awful!!

Not so good Days Inn
When I first arrived I had to check in thur a window and could not hear the front desk person and they would not come to the window. Just looking around I was really questioning should I check into this hotel. When I got to my room there was only two towels and there is two of us so I want it to more towels. The girl at the front desk argued with me that I didn’t need two more towels because there was two towels there I finally got two towels a half an hour later. I definitely would not recommend this Days Inn.

My stay was great. I stay in Maryland but when i come down this is the only place I stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff and the service is top notch. You usually dont see this type of service in a small town but I must say this is one of the best I've been too.

Disappointing for a Wyndham hotel
The bed was great, the bathroom was spacious but...the Dead bugs on the dirty floor didn't make me feel good. No local phone book, no pen or paper to make a note and come morning, no breakfast as advertised on Hotels.com. Excuse...covid!

Too Many Visitors not allow in this hotel, Sorry for your dislike but this is the city rules and policy. We are making sure you must follow that. and we watch entire hotel in to the camera to making sure everything is ok,

I was bitten by bedbugs. The children overhead ran and played all night. The floor was dirty. My husband and I each had ! towel, only 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and they were so rough. The air was off and the room was so hot and musky.Never again.
