Pekne, ale nie prilis vhodne na vylet s detmi

Hotel zial nema ziadne parkovacie miesta (ani len na zastavenie/vylozenie veci z auta),takze kym sme vykladali veci z auta,uz pri nas stala mestska policia a dostali sme pokutu za parkovanie :-/ Taktiez ani vynasanie vsetkej detskej vynavy na tretie poschodie nie je bez vytahu ziadna sranda,ale tak s tym musi asi clovek pocitat pri historickych budovat. Na com by vsak mohol hotel zapracovat je bezbarierovost (s kocikom neprejdete do hotela ani len cez vchodove dvere - musite ist cez restauraciu a 6 dveri (samozrejme nie automaticke) :D ) Kazdopadne hotel je velmi pekny, restauracia este krajsia,sluzby prijemne a poloha priamo v centre,takze pokial nejdete na vylet s detmi,hotel mozeme odporucit. :)

Reštika kazí dojem z hotela

Špinavé bielizeň zviazaná do batohov strašila celý deň pri hlavnom vstupe do hotela. Keď sa otvorí okno, tak do izby nalezie cigaretový dym od zamestnancov, ktorý fajčia na zadnom dvore. Inak hotel krásny, čistý, ale kazí mu to reštaurácia, je tam priepastný rozdiel medzi nádherným vzhľadom reštiky a slabou ponukou jedál, najmä, keď Vám 2 dni po sebe povie čašníčka, že paradajková polievka, tatarák a hovädzí steak už nie sú.

Forget it if you don't communicate in Slovak

You will have a hard time communicating with the owner in English. English is my second language; my native language is completely unrelated to English. However, when you advertise your business online, you have a duty to your customers to communicate in a standard or universal language. Hotels.com is an international platform with international customers. We arrived in Banska Stiavnica at around 5 pm. I parked curbside while my wife and kids tried to check in first but there was no one there. While at the front desk, my wife called the listed number three times but no one answered. So, we went around town to take pictures. My wife called again but there was no answer. She left a text message too but it wasn't until 7:15 pm that he called back to let us know that he's back. There was no parking nearby so my wife and kids did all the checking in. After 10 mins., my wife called so the owner can explain where to park. The lot was about a 7 minute walk away and not very convenient when carrying some bags. The owner negotiated a price and walked with me back to the hotel. When we got there, he explained in hand gestures which keys opened what. When I asked for a local tourist location, he couldn't explain so he called a person who spoke English. The guy was not helpful either so I just gave up. The owner was gesturing us to hurry up because he needed to sleep. Interestingly, other businesses downtown spoke English, including the hotels across the street.

Trošku sklamaná pri ubytovaní, pretože pri príchode nám dali iba kľúč s číslom izby, kade ísť a čas raňajok. Pri bare boli 2 čašníčky, mali veľa roboty, čo aj chápem, ale tak snáď by mal mať takýto človek trošku prednosť, keď sa ide ubytovať. Izbu sme museli meniť, pretože v izbe chýbal televízor. Nebolo nám povedané ani wifi heslo. Samozrejme, že sme tam neprišli pozerať tv a ani surfovať po internete, ale je 21.storočie, internet treba, keď sme si zisťovali nejaké info o meste alebo cestu späť. Výhľad žiadny, keďže sme to mali v popise rezervácie izby, no taktiež to chápem, keďže bol Silvester a možnosti obmedzené, ale keďže sme menili izbu, bol o niečo lepší. Rovnako sa mi zdala vymenená izba čistejšia, ale to sú detaily, keďže si na poriadok potrpím. Izba sa mala upratovať, nám stačilo iba vyhodiť plné koše, no i keď sme chyžnú stretli, neprišla ich nám vysypať. Nevadí, mala robotu navyše. Inak sme boli spokojní, hotel krásny a mesto tiež :-) Na ďalší deň nám urobila radosť pri raňajkách veselá usmiata pani alebo slečna recepčná-čašníčka v okuliaroch :-) Veľmi príjemne pôsobila, sršala z nej energia i keď bol deň po Silvestrovi. Týmto ju pozdravujeme a prajeme si viac takýchto ľudí, pretože je to ozaj lepší prístup a dobre to pôsobí na každého. Inak všetko ok, nie sme nároční :-) Určite sa ešte vrátime :-)

Can't recommend any one this hotel it's not more then a bed. The rooms are nice but no air conditioning or fan. On the booking side we was promised wifi and fan at the room. But we didn't get any information at all. We also have to guess what time the breakfast was. 08:45 it's was nearly empty and there didn't fill it up...

Not satisfied at all !

On first view, Hotel Bristol is a beautiful hotel, well located, clean with good rooms. But...there was no wifi in my room ! Yes, in 2017, there was no wifi in my hotel room ! Furthermore, the light was not working at all in the main room, the water in the bathroom was ice cold (or no explanations about how to have hot water), the shower was in a bath without curtains (not really practical if you don't want to transform the bathroom in swimming pool), the bathroom's door had a translucent window just in front of the main door (not very intimate...) and the restaurant's waitress played the role of the reception. I needed to print my plane ticket but she refused, arguing that they have no printer (but the sheets I had to fill in showed the opposite). I asked her if I could go to the reception (which has a printer, I saw it) to ask, she pretented that it was closed but someone was in it when I took the stairs... Come on ! That's only one sheet to print via email for someone who booked a room in your hotel ! Well, clearly not the best service. If you hesitate between two hotels in Banska Stiavnica, take the other. Pas de wifi dans certaines chambres, lumière qui ne fonctionne pas, eau glaciale, douche-bain sans rideau, refus de m'imprimer mon billet d'avion, etc. Peut-être ai-je manqué de chance...Choisissez un autre logement !
