Very good hotel with a nice view of the city blocks, it's located to a walking distance from the downtown but uphill. The hotel has a secured entrance for entry/exit for added safety; very nice premises with polite and helpful staff. Overall, a great stay.

Good price if you don't mind the hill

Hostel is okay, i had a room with 3 beds all to myself so it felt very spacious. It is quite a hike up the hill from the bus station so leaving to go have breakfast or go on a tour can be quite the hike back up which makes enjoying the hot springs a second thought. Room was clean, and the price for laundry service was great at $1 per kilo.

Nice little place up the hill from the center. Good value for money, can’t top that. Hot water takes a minute to start but it’s there. The hill is steep but you could taxi it if you want. Front desk people were very kind and helpful. I wish they had a room with a kitchenette. Otherwise it was great.

Highly recommend

This hotel does a great job of everything in my opinion. They have lovely grounds, the staff is all happy too help with anything, you have access to a large jug of drinking water so can cut down on single use bottles, breakfast was perfect for me with two eggs cooked to request, a bowl of fruity, a large fruit juice, two croissant type rolls with butter and jelly and a personal pot of coffee or two large mugs worth with cocoa powder on the table and milk if you like. It is indeed an uphill walk home three to four blocks of gentle slope and 1/2 that is steep but as a reward you have great views of the valley,a nice breeze and less noise than in town, and if the hill is too daunting a taxi from town will cost you $1.50 so at the price this hotel is still a bargain.

If you get a chance to stay here, do! Spotlessly clean rooms, lots of outdoor space - a courtyard with two levels plus a roof deck and common room & balcony with stunning views of Banos (maybe ask about these ... they aren't too well publicized!) Very safe and secure setting. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The ala carte breakfast is a nice option. Everyone is very friendly in the breakfast room. I would definitely stay here again. Gracias!!!

La habitacion es comoda y tiene una vista hacia la ciudad que, por ubicarse el hotel en una parte alta, por la noche es un panorama privilegiado. Asimismo, el personal del hotel es muy amable y presto en ayudar, a nosotros nos facilito un croquis de la ciudad y nos explico los puntos a visitar tanto dentro como fuera del poblado. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
