"Hotel super dirty. Not ready when arrived past check in time. Staff was unfriendly. Asked me many questions that no place had ever asked at check in time. Bathroom was terrible , hose hanging , bucket in the shower, on the way to the room I saw 2 broken mattress leaning against the wall. Pictures look good on web but no place is run down. Located in run down area. We asked Expedia for reimbursement as we booked another hotel same moment but this hotel refused to reimburse me. Please do not book if you like cleanliness and hygiene. "

"Everything about our stay at Jas Vilas was wonderful. The owners are lovely people, and you can tell that they care about the staff and that the staff enjoy working there. Everyone there makes you feel like you belong there from the moment you arrive. The property and rooms are clean and beautiful. "Dishonest management "

"We ended up having to change rooms as did our friends. Initially our friends changed due to a funny smell in their bathroom. Our room was beautiful and clean but after returning from dinner it smelled terribly of smoke. The staff were very courteous and kind and quickly moved us to another room. We’re not sure if cigarette smoke from outside somehow drifted into the room. The next room was nice but faced the street where stray dogs barked all night and the mattress on the bed was worn and sunk in the middle. We didn’t sleep a wink the first night. The 2nd night the dogs were quieter which helped."
