"Great place to spend the night if you're catching a ferry from Pralarn Pier.
The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly and accomodating.
Restaurant is good and the breakfast has plenty of options include some made to order options.
It was also a nice touch that they knew I was taking a ferry without me telling them, unfortunately they had the time wrong and called me several times early in the morning as if I was taking the first ferry when I actually was taking one at 11"

"We loved our short stay at Buri Rasa. Such a special place in Koh Phangan. We visited and stayed all over the island and this resort is by far the classiest. Having said that, this is ‘sanitised’ Koh Phangan (only ONE cannabis shop we spied in the village, as opposed to the customary ‘every other shop’ experience!) and we absolutely loved our very different, more authentic stay just before at Secret Beach Bungalows. "When we arrived to the island, we took a taxi to the GPS location according to Hotels.com map. The pin was innaccurate, and 6 of us were stranded on another part of the island, 45 minutes away. Only due to a nice local Thai man, did we get a new taxi and find the villa. The villa in the photo shows a beach - we had no beach. In fact, we had the view of a stockade fence and there was NO beach access to be had. The other side of the fence was a dirty old boat pier - no swimming, nothing like the...

"A quiet location right on the beach. The bungalow was spacious and just what we needed for our family of four. The kitchen had a microwave and stove so could boil water/cook. We hired a car so we could get around the Island and loved returning to our peaceful location. "
