"Check in was at 4. We could not check in until after 7 because they had no linens for the beds to properly check you in. So many guests had to wit in the lobby or put find other alternatives. They did at least hold our luggage so we could still make our reservations, but could not freshen up or change."

"Ther service was terrible, starting with calling the hotel to request a shuttle. First, they told us that because I made the reservation through Expedia, they couldn't provide service. Then I called Expedia customer service, and they called the hotel because that was included in the reservation. After arriving at the hotel, the service was poor; the staff member who attended to us was on her phone all the time. I will never return to that hotel; the service was TERRIBLE."

"My first room the toilet wasn’t working. Got moved to a 2nd room and the shower had a terrible leak, and no more rooms were available because the hotel was booked solid. I had to listen to the shower dripping all night for 3 nights. However the staff was very friendly and accommodating."

"No housekeeping for 5 days, in spite of daily requests and assurances that the room would receive attention. Came to the room to take away the towels, but didn’t replenish the same number, so every night we had to call to request towels. One day just left the clean towels in a sack in the bathroom; another day when we requested to have the beds made they just dumped a pile of clean sheets on the coffee table. Terrible service."

"Unbelievable, but I had to argue to get room cleaning after three nights. She repeated to refused to do it or communicate with the management. I had never had such an experience with any hotel anywhere in the world. La Quinta is generally good, but this La Quinta was different."
