"Quirky from the outside but nice inside. Comfortable and clean.
We were in a room next to the pub so we didn’t have any noise except from guests using the hot tub and they quieted about 930.
Only issue we had was it was warm so we wanted the windows open but the staff used the space by our window as a smoking area. We were able to open after they left for the night.
Small nice kitchen with convenience store across the street that had basic groceries for all meals. "

When this is combined with the love for nature that the host Mary shares with you and staying in one of the shepherds huts all conditions for a perfect stay are there. Guidance to nice walks and places to see are part of the warm welcoming to Blackstairs Shepherds Hut.
We enjoyed the quietness, a walk along the river Barrow and having dinner in the nearby town Borris."
"Cathy was the perfect host, advising of local areas of interest and producing leaflets for everything mentioned. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of options, and set us up for the day. Nothing was too much trouble. We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit and wish we were staying longer. "

Falta que tuviese aire acondicionado en las habitaciones. Un hotel de 4 estrellas con ventilador no es aceptable.
