My daughter and I had a good stay with Sweeney one as it was almost perfect. Comfortable room with free water and tunnocks was a really nice touch, great parking spaces and our shower was excellent and it was fairly clean. Excellent cafe in Ballater called The Bridge. Staff at Duke of Rothesay Pavillion Braemar were attentive but lady on till needs to greet her customers with s smile !

Ballater is a fantastic place that I have been visiting for years. Plenty of amazing trails to walk while admiring the breathtaking scenery. The locals are friendly and the food is good.
