"Apartment is spacious. All staff are helpful. The whole complex is a house with multiple apartments. Next to white sandy tranquil beach. The area is safe. Aircon very quiet. Kitchen is functional. I slept very well. Good value for money. Feeling the kindness of Gambians was important for me . Good experience overall"

"There are not enough word to describe my horrendous experience with this establishment. Firstly, upon check my reservation was incorrect and missing. Secondly, some of the staff is great but the manager Omar is a cheat and unethical. I, unfortunately needed to extend my stay due to health issues and had intentions of booking online but was manipulated by him to book with him which he significantly increased the price which was utterly unacceptable and different from online booking. The whole...

"Staff were friendly and very helpful, all along.
Someone checked in on my name. The person used the facilities, left unclean before us. They had to take his stuffs out of the flat for us to be in there that night. I still cannot believe that was possible without verification.
We had issues with the front door for few days until it was finally fixed properly.
There are builders building and refurbishment going on which is good for the hotel but early morning noise from builders wasn’t nice...

"The rooms are clean, but the swimming pool may be the dirtyest in the Gambia.
Beds are comfortable
Location is very good, directly at the beautiful Kotu Beach.
We didn't try the hotel restaurant or beach bar this year, due to bleak experiences last year.
Service at the hotel is ok, but many of the employees seem to not like their jobs very much. Nobody are hostile, but they are not very eager either.
We may choose the same hotel again, but probably not.
