"Good location, but very loud both outside and inside of the hostel. The main issue I found was the guest staying there at the same time were very inconsiderate, many of the other guests were loud past the quiet hours listed (stomping around and yelling and loudly talking until 3-4 am) and were not clean which made sharing a bathroom very unpleasant. The bathrooms are in poor condition with mold and water damage everywhere, it’s fairly cheep per night and is close to a lot of things but I wouldn’t recommend."

"Great place to stay with plenty of character. In the middle of Barrio Alto so lots of bars and restaurants nearby. All the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Decent breakfast too. Short walk to a metro station and 15-20 min walk to the seafront."

"WONDERFUL HIDDEN GEM IN BARRIO ALTO---QUIET BUT CLOSE TO ALL THE LISBON ACTION!!!! Julia and the entire hotel team at this wonderful hidden gem in Barrio Alto neighborhood of Lisbon is highly recommended for you to stay at when visiting Lisbon. It is walking distance to pretty much everything, but when you need a rest and a quiet night’s sleep it delivers. Although there is some noise transference if you have inconsiderate neighbors as fellow guests, we had an amazing and restful stay and the most generous breakfast they service from 8-10am daily will probably have you skipping lunch and just opting for a Pastel De Nata pastry and a coffee/tea instead. There is a honor bar for afternoon and evenings should you prefer that to taking advantage to all the live bars and clubs within walking distance. Whether you need an umbrella or something printed out for work the staff is ready to help. They are also quite knowledgeable about recommending good places to go whether to eat, drink, sightsee or see a great FADO show. We have been there a few times now and they don’t disappoint with generous guestroom sizes including a walk-in shower and large sized bathroom. Room prices are quite fair and the location is safe—the local police station is a 2 minute walk away from the hotel. "
