"Spent over 3k for two nights in grand view suite.. front desk was not friendly, welcoming or accommodating.. our room had pizza crusts in corners both upstairs and downstairs in the bi level suite.. the windows were dirty. The electricity in the main entertaining area the dining and living room went out twice during our birthday party celebration and we had to have maintenance come out… The bathroom was stopped up three times in the downstairs bathroom, which is the bathroom that the guests would use and never once did a manager or supervisor addressed these issues especially with spending over 3000 for just a two nights day, this is unacceptable"

"Our stay at The Dana was great as far as staff friendliness, pool access, and drink tickets. The overall condition of the building is more of a motel. It is glorified due to the views they offered or course and being so close to the water. Breakfast was not included which was a let down, and getting to your room, if on the top floor, was a bit of a hassle. I would stay here again, but not for a luxury experience they claim to provide. The location and shuttle to SeaWorld was the main convenience for our stay. "

"Nice Hotel "

"Overall the property was fine, but the rooms were dated and not worth the price. We booked a Garden Room suite, which in theory was nice (two queen beds in a room separate from the couch/tv area) but it over looked a public parking lot. Garden room doesn’t equate to public parking lot to us. When we raised concerns about being uncomfortable with looking at people clearly living out of their cars, and expressed a desire to move to a room without a literal parking lot view, we were given a lesser quality room in the 400 “tower” at the back of the property. This room was not as nice given it was on the bottom floor, did not have a separate living area, and had a view of the dumpsters. But at this point it wasn’t worth negotiating further as we just needed a place to sleep. Recognizing the hotel has no control over what goes on at the public beach, it’s just false advertising to pretend the “300” rooms are anything but a parking lot view. The front desk staff seemed surprised we didn’t want to watch people trading plastic bottles and cans while we were on vacation and seemed dismissive of our concerns that this wasn’t the experience we expected or felt we paid for. Wouldn’t stay here again based on the lack of customer service to provide an appropriately commensurate level room or offer any discount to account for the difference. On the plus side, the restaurant was decent, those staff were lovely, and the “beach” and pool were well maintained. "

"The room was clean, beautifully decorated, with nice amenities including robes, rolling coffee tables, and ear plugs. We didnt have a angle that directly faced the beach, but that option was available and the view was amazing. The front desk staff was very kind and efficient, especially as we checked in super late due to late flight. The breakfast included a variety of eggs and sausage, cereals, pastries, and waffles. Ample parking in the parking garage, and we were able to drive a Kia Carnival into it. The hotel also had equipment to rent and we were able to rent bicycles for the boardwalk which was a nice bonus. "

"Wonder location and super dog friendly, the fog run is awesome! Rooms are simple and dated but appeared clean. Only issue was got no sleep the first night due to another dog barking that caused my dog to be restless."
