"This property is filthy dirty not only was our room filthy. The carpet smelled like sour feet. The carpet was so soiled. The bathtub was soiled. There were biological on the handles for the dresser. The light switches. The paint was peeling. The hardware on the doors was rusted at the place, not only smelled like sour feet but it smell smelled it moldy and mild Dewey. This property is pitiful. I would never stay here again and I would never stay at another best western. I deserve my money back. The only reason why we stayed is because we had such a long journey, and we were exhausted when we checked in. Even the front office area only half the lights were on the air conditioning was broken. The front desk woman had sweat running down her forehead. They were young girls in the lobby, using foul language and the following morning when we went to leave at 6:30 AM. The police shot a man in the street with a taser gun and my 12 year-old daughter witnessed all of it. She told me she will never stay in the best Western hotel ever again, but that was this sketchyspookiest hotel she’s ever stayed in."

"I do not recommend this hotel and will never stay there again. The only plus and the reason we did stay was that it was clean. It is in need of refurbishment and even that isn’t a big deal to me. The main problem is the Managment and staffing and overall feeling of safety and comfort. The front desk girl was not at all friendly or welcoming. She seemed pretty miserable and possibly under some influence of something. At one point we noticed her walking around barefoot. I had to leave the hotel at 6am one morning and all the lights were off at the front desk area and nobody was around. ?? We called the front desk to ask about some trouble we had with our TV and within a couple of minutes we had a knock at the door. I assumed it was maintenance but he didn’t acknowledge or speak. He just stood there. He mumbled and and I told him the Tv in the bedroom didn’t work. He told us to leave the room (?!) so we stood in the living room area and about 30 seconds later he mumbled something and walked out and the TV was working. He made me feel unsafe and if I was alone I wouldn’t have felt comfortable having him in there. He flipped the switch for the garbage disposal on his way out of the room?? And then left. The strangest interaction I’ve ever had with any maintenance staff. We didn’t encounter any staff members that would be considered professional or up to par with what I would expect from Marriott. There were more issues but I’m out of room. "

"This property should be shut down by the health department. It is disgusting! The guests seem mostly welfare recipients and or othewise homeless,or living a week to week existence, at the lower levels of society, but they should not have to live like this. Management allows block parties to occure nightly, til 4 am. with out consideration for other guests. Instead they watch while shopping carts of supplies are hauled in by guests friends wo the garbage piles up high. The place is roach infested, but when you ask if they have roach motels they scoff.But if you travel with a cat and need to stay in Savannah, this is only one of two places to go and management knows that. It was a real eye opener."
