The staff was SUPERB! The room was just ok. The door does not close securely, the desk was so wobbly we were afraid someone may get hurt, room smelled like the carpet had been there since the 1990s when people could smoke in the rooms and the tub obviously has seen better days. And for a kitchenette you’d expect a coffee maker in the room.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel due to location. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The towels were even soft! The building is older but modern and the location is great for downtown activities. Walking distance to Palmer Event center South Congress (SoCo) shopping district as well as food. I will stay there again next year.

We were booked in here for the Formula One. Nice quiet location and neighbourhood. Room was fitted with a mini kitchen too which included two hobs, microwave and a full size fridge freezer. Aircon was immense and worked a treat. Bed and pillows were comfortable and no noise disturbances at all. Later found out the Ferrari crew were staying a few hundred yards away so gives you an indication of how quiet and respectable the area was. There were two burger bars located immediately opposite if that’s your thing. Walking distance to the Bat Bridge and the other side of the river. Breakfast was limited to a muffin/snackbar/instant porridge and coffee. Not a complaint and found it more convenient as a grab and go on our way out. Staff were friendly and polite. Served my requirements and budget and would definitely stay here again.
