"My husband and I loved our corner room overlooking the Douro River. We enjoyed meeting other guests for delicious breakfasts. The owner, Marie, and staff were very helpful. The bedding and towels were dreamy. The drive up winding roads was a bit unnerving, but it was worth it to return to the Casa each afternoon. We avoided driving after dark. We didn't use the pool because it was cool outside. It was beautiful - and on a warmer day, I would have jumped right in. We highly recommend this property!"

"This hotel is incredibly great! We loved staying here. The facilities, staff, room and the service is incredible. Only thing we think could improve is the massage services can always be better, and have more diverse offerings with varied therapist that are more confident. The other thing was that the room service was always great but even tho there was moments we didn’t want anybody in the room they still came in to clean up… Overall it was amazing!!!"

"This hotel was Amazing ! We loved the older charm of this mountainside resort . The staff was excellent as well as polite and friendly ! They go out of their way to make sure that you are satisfied with everything ! Our dinners and breakfast were great as well . We would stay here again in a heartbeat !!"
