Nice hostel and staff with a beautiful garden

Great stay and staff at Asuncion. Nice relaxing garden too and very good price. Close to old town and can use Uber/Bolt easily to go to the further sites like del sol malls, carmelita and airport.

Staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Nice but tiny pool in a pretty garden. Breakfast was fine but basic. I had a private en suite room which comfortable, no hot water but it wasn’t necessary as the weather was hot. It was walking distance of the centre, about 20 minutes, and felt safe. I expected it to be more hotel than hostel. It’s definitely a hostel but it is really nice!

Excellent value for money. Breakfast is limited. Location is okay, a bit out of the centre, too far. WiFi is okay. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was good

No es un lugar de lujo, pero eso no quiere decir que no sea encantador. Estuve en una habitación privada para dos personas. Mi cuarto y el hostal siempre estuvo limpio. El desayuno es sencillo pero con lo básico (huevo, fruta, cereal, pan, etc) y muy rico. El personal de la cocina siempre amable y platicador. Los días que estuve dormí excelente, excepto el ultimo día (sábado) que hubo una fiesta y se escuchaba mucho ruido de madrugada: para mi seria el único detalle de mi estancia. Pero fuera de eso, sin duda mi estancia ahí fue excelente y lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Friendly hostel with helpful owners and staff

This hostel was fantastic, mostly because of the owners and staff there. They were helpful on all sorts of little details, like deciding where to eat and directions on how to use the bus to get to the bus terminal. They checked in about how my visit was and how I liked the different places I visited in Asuncion. The hostel itself is clean and has a nice breakfast/bar area. There's a patio and a pool (which I did not use, since it was May), and friendly cats.
