"This property has the absolute best beach. Uncrowded and you can always get a beach chair under an umbrella, even in the shade. We bobbed in the waves for hours everyday. Room was nice but a bit dated. Front desk staff was awesome, some of the staff at the buffet or cleaning lobby looked very tired and unhappy. Food was ok, drinks were ok, entertainment at night could be very much improved. The bike/snorkel excursion that was included made our trip cost so worth it. Zac and Donny were the best guides and we highly recommend this tour. "

"Overall great experience. Our room was clean, bathroom clean. Housekeeping did a good job. The location, I think is perfect. Shops restaurants across street, beach and pool behind you. I think the gazebos need to be upgraded, and perhaps another lunch option for the pool area. But will go back!!! "

"My wife and I have stayed at the Tamarijn 11 times and would never stay anywhere else. We love the Tamarijn. But much to our surprise there have been some changes at the Tamarijn that we are very unhappy about. The outdoor seating for the buffet has been removed to make room for a restaurant. That outdoor seating was a huge highlight for us. We VERY much enjoyed having our breakfast and lunch outside listening to the waves. And to add insult to injury the buffet is closed for dinner! Very unhappy about this. My wife and I sincerely would like to see the seating area put back as it was but we are sure this won't happen. The Club Margo should have been put where the store is. So unhappy."
