"To be honest, we were reading some reviews on our way down to Utah and we got a little concerned. I don’t know where the other people were staying at the hotel, but our room was very pleasant and was exactly looked like the pictures that the hotel provided. The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean. The water was hot. We did have some issues with parking one night, but no biggie. The other issue that people talk about is the homelessness problem but that is in all of downtown Salt Lake. We found the staff extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. And to be honest, I would stay here with my family again."

"The AC and safe in the room were not working properly. A professional associate arrived with in 10 minutes and corrected the problems. And, (now this is funny) I had a terrible problem with a dress zipper .... going to my nephew’s wedding and my husband could not figure it out. I called the front desk to ask if a lady was available to help since my husband could not figure out this problem. She arrived in 2 minutes or less....and was able to zip the dress....I was very appreciative of her quick response."

"We stayed downtown at the Element for General Conference and had a fabulous experience! First of all, when you walk in the hotel, it smells AMAZING - they really should sell that fragrance! Our room was spacious and bright - very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and very tasty. Fruit-infused water stations were found throughout the building to keep us hydrated. And, the rooftop pool was amazing. The location was within steps of Temple Square - very convenient. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to staying at Element again soon!"
