"Everything was great at The Oak Tree Inn! Staff were wonderful (especially Kay) so friendly and welcoming! The pub was so nice with a cozy fire. Our food and drinks were great. Our room had a great view of the water and the sunset."

"Excellent hostel! I stayed in the Court - I’m a light sleeper and even with earplugs, I woke often as people were coming and going at all hours of the night. Disturbances would likely be less in the other rooms. The facilities, social aspect of the hostel and the staff were top notch! They have activities each day to connect you with others. As a solo traveller, it was incredible and more reason to stay in a hostel. Price was great for Edinburgh and the location cannot be beat!"

"From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty in the stunning castle. Our bags were immediately taken to our room in the tower, reservations for dinners, suggestions for hikes and exploring and help with arrangements for our departure in a couple days. Breakfasts were phenomenal and top notch. Breakfast was delivered to our room on the day of departure at 4:30am and our bags taken back down to our rental car. The spa experience was exceptional. "Looking from the outside, it doesn't seem like a hotel. But when I press the doorbell, there are staff to give advice. Very welcoming, easy to check in, go up to the room is very clean, especially the bathroom, worth the price, not far from the city centre, convenient if you rent a car, if you don't have a car."
