This hotel is a must, from their breakfast, the view, staff and how kind and friendly everyone was! Make sure to be specific with your rooms when you book the view from our room was perfect but as it was located by the entrance there was not much privacy! But everything was perfect and highly recommend them in every aspect! Do not skip this hotel.

From the start to finish this was great. Daneila was amazing she greeted us with great smile and couldn’t enough to make us feel happy. The room great. Comfortable bed and premium sheets. The view was to die for. Would definitely come to visit them again.

Incredible views with even better service

Absolutely loved the stay at Hotel Kawa. The property is incredible -- beautiful views right above the town of Salento. The room could not have been better. Very comfortable and the private jacuzzi was a huge plus. The staff, particularly Daniela, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The food was also excellent -enjoyed both dinner and breakfast on the property. I would absolutely stay at this property again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxury stay at a very reasonable price point.

Nice hotel in beautiful location, walking distance to main street. Great service and delicious breakfast. They set up great room for us for our anniversary time. We had balcony with beautiful view. Definitely coming back to Salento and this hotel.

Prior to our visit, we read all the positive reviews and our stay exceeded our high expectations. Everything about this place is fantastic: the stunning views, tranquil setting, comfortable room and excellent service. The charming lobby/dinning area was a perfect setting to enjoy the breakfast of an assortment of fresh fruits, coffee and selected entré. In the evening, we enjoyed drinks in front of the wood burning fireplace. The location was perfect for our four days of exploring the region. We found the walk into Salento a little steep and tiring, so we used a driver that charged 15,000 pesos each way which worked out great. Can’t recommend Kawa enough!

A very beautiful, cozy, tip top service retreat just outside Salento. Super service and local food - we really enjoyed it! One wish - a little improvemet on the wifi would be nice - but we would still rate the place as a 5 star

This was a nice change of scenery . Perfect views and relaxation. The staff were wonderful and accommodating . My only cons 1. More options for vegan/vegetarians ( including options dairy free milk ) 2. Restaurant is closed Sundays so it would be nice if they had a little convenience store on the property that sells snacks , drinks etc

It was a great place to stay, with the benefit of a mountain location and easy access to town by taking a shortcut on the property. Note that it is a good uphill hike back from town. A taxi or tuk-tuk may be a better idea coming back at night. Our room was next to the parking lot and was noisy as trucks and cars came in and out. It was the building right beside the main building. They have more secluded units that I would encourage you to get. I recommend this place.

Will definitely go back to Kawa hotel for sure! We found such a pity that we couldn’t spend decent time at the hotel due to our intensive schedule, so will try to arrange for more time chilling there next time. Breakfast and view from the room are both perfect, but the service was what amazed us the most! Very helpful and responsive reception that we didn’t need to worry about anything. Shuttle service worked out smoothly as well!
