Sentralt og ok

Greit hotell med hyggelig betjening. Bråkete strøk med mye trafikk og eksos- fikk likevel sove pga at det var treskodder foran vinduene. Fikk god hjelp til reiseplanlegging og oppbevaring av bagasje.

Comfortable and Welcoming

The rates for the amenities and service at the hotel are very good. The owner is wonderful and very accommodating. We almost didn't book here because of a review of the noisy street, but it did not bother us and as long as the shutters were closed we really didn't hear any of the street traffic. Very good breakfast every morning-fresh papaya and pineapple juice, yogurt, ham, cheese, Arequipan rolls, fresh fruit, eggs, coffee and tea. I was a little disappointed as the ad says every room opens onto a balcony or patio. The third floor rooms open onto a patio, but we stayed on the second floor and the balconies are only about a foot wide and not usable. But this minor snafu quickly slipped away as the courteousness and helpfulness of the staff was wonderful. We were made to feel very much at home. I wanted milk in my coffee one morning and they were out. A staff person left right then to go buy some at the store for me. That was beyond what I expected. The owner also let us stay beyond check-in for no additional charge(since the room had not been booked yet) until time for our plane 5 hours later. Again, above and beyond what was required.

Good central location for Place Des Armes, Convent Santa Catalina and Museo Santuarios de Altura in Arequipa (Ice Mummy Juanita). Bad location in terms of noisy traffic - street in front is a major bus route. Staff friendly but a bit disorganized. Breakfast good. Covers on bed had seen better and cleaner days. Difficult to open windows.

Ruido desde temprano

Me parecio muy bien en relación con el precio, desafortunadamente desde las 5:30 am empiezan a pasar autobuses y vehiculos para pasaje; los cuales hacen demasiado ruido en la calle principal y a nosotras nos toco un cuarto que daba justo a esta calle en un primer nivel. Aparte para que entrara luz natural absolutamente toda la habitación se podia ver por la gente que caminaba en la banqueta. Esto fue bastante incomodo pues no sentiamos privacidad. Supongo que en otras habitaciones no hay este problema. El personal siempre fue muy amable.
