"Unfortunately, the AC didn’t work and required a trip downstairs to address. Aside from that, the hotel was decent nothing special, but likely one of the better choices in the area."
"Very clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of the river and fields.
There was some confusion with the check in process. We arrived right at the posted check in time and there was no one at reception and no one answered the phone number that was posted on the door. After about an hour, we almost gave up and found somewhere else to stay, but finally found another phone number on the website and got through to someone who then came and checked us in. I think we were supposed to let them know when we were arriving (it was in the off-season), but that wasn't very clear in the Expedia app."
"Had a two night stay here for a tour of the Maginot line. The owner is a lovely man who goes out of his way to make sure his guests are well looked after. We are in the restaurant one night which was very good value and again staff were excellent. The rooms lack a few amenities like coffee machine but overall a great little hotel which was very good value for money "
"We were warmly greeted and farewelled by the staff. The hotel is rustic, clean and comfortable. Great location walking distance to all the main sites, restaurants and bars. Street parking was easy, but we were in the off season. Rooms were clean, on the smaller size, but not uncomfortable. No tea/coffee facilities. For any poor comments the location and the ambience of the hotel and village overcame the small issues. Great stay and would recommend."
"The hotel location was perfect! Just a few minutes walk from all the events at the center of town. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and great quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful but they were so short staffed they were unable to hold our luggage until the afternoon on our departure day ( because they would need to close the hotel for a few hours). There was no other luggage storage option in town so we had to walk around with our luggage for 3 hours ( until our train departure time). For a 4 star hotel, that was not great…"
"What a wonderful property it was. We decided to book our stay there for our Belgian honey moon close to Boullion and we had a wonderful experience. The owners are very kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful breakfast. Just the perfect place to unwind after a full day of exploring and hiking the Wallonian country side. Very close to the loop of the giant viewpoint and hiking trails. "
"Who doesn’t want to stop in a castle?
Really nice rooms, great parking (after 6pm you can park inside the castle) especially if your on a motorcycle "
