"Great find, seems newly renovated with nice new everything, and a great new pool area. I also liked there was a real window in my room for some fresh air in the evenings… Friendly staff and a good location near local markets and restaurants. Gem of a local breakfast (Carmelitas) and dinner (Papa Loca) within a 5 minute walk, or just eat in the hotel . Also an easy 15 minute walk to the beach. I would recommend this place for the value for money shopper"

"My stay at Ixic was sweet and comfortable. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and cared for. The room was spotless and air conditioned. The shower had great pressure and hot water. The amenities are simple so bring your own shampoos if you are needing something special. There are many stores and a market in the area. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the beach in the center of town. "
