"It was a beautiful resort but they were not properly staffed. Our room was clean, but found utensils (used) on the floor on the side of the bed. Gross. We went to the restaurant for breakfast, with a reservation, and it was an almost three hour ordeal due to the lack of staff. The reason I still give a 4 out of 5 was because it was a beautiful resort, very centrally located, and three specific staff members went above and beyond. The biggest thank you to Jacob, Jackson, and Nicolas. These three are the primary reason I would come back! Well done on the amazing hires. "

"Form the front lobby and front rooms of the hotel, there is a great view of the beach/ocean. Front lobby patio is awesome to chill out on. We had room 403 which is the massive space above the back building. It does not really have a view, is a bit dilapidated and has termites in the window sills. I would NOT rent this particular room again, but I would try another room at this hotel. The front office staff were very friendly and the check-in/out process was seamless. Hotel has two dedicated parking lots which made coming and going into town very easy! Boardwalk and beach volleyball courts are basically across the street. Awesome restaurant and bar in the hotel next door."

"the staff was super friendly and helpful from the moment i checked in to check out. the only downside was i fif not have a microwave in my room so i couldn't heat my food up. the room was very small so the tv couldn't even be in front of the bed it was far off to the side. but other than that the room was fine. "From check in till check out everything was pleasant. The staff was super friendly and was genuinely ready to assist me with whatever my need were. I got a birthday surprise (wine and cookies) because I mentioned my reason for the stay. They told me I could have called ahead so if you have a birthday when booking please mention it so you can get a room treat. The Saltwood restaurant has a great happy hour. I didn't care for the room service breakfast meals but that doesn't take away my feelings about the resort overall. Everything was lovely and I would recommend this place for a solo trip, couples trip, girls stay in etc. Grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at the Sanctuary. The name speaks for itself. Go check them out! "
