Lovely cottage

Perfect cottage for our three day break. Spotless, comfortable, tastefully furnished and definitely recommended. Will use again.

Just Perfect

The cottage was pristine, we felt like we were the first guests. It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. Large beds and great showers. Very quiet at night so we slept well. Large private garden. Warcop is a lovely village with good walks along the river & streams. The Chamley Arms around the corner was very welcoming but we just missed out on being able to eat there as they are starting serving meals in July. However we enjoyed the food and friendly welcome at the Sandford Arms in the next village, Sunday lunch was particularly good. Despite the changeable weather we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cosy Nook Cottage, it is not a typical holiday let, it’s a wonderful home.

Stylish, comfortable and friendly welcome.

Amazing. Arrived early just as they had finishy cleaning. No problem. Allowed us in good welcome pack, milk tea coffee biscuits. Everything very tastefully presented. Nothing except a playground in the village of Warcop. 5 miles to Appleby in one direction. Kirby Stephen in the other. Lovely countryside.

Perfect!

The cottage is stunning, in a beautiful and peaceful location. The cottage was very clean, the hosts clearly put in a lot of effort and care in to the preparation for our arrival. The rooms and space was perfect for what we needed and we were delighted to find out that we had a gorgeous garden also!! There’s no bad word I can find to say about this place.

Perfect in every way...

We loved it here! The cottage was larger than we expected, especially the bedrooms, and beautifully presented throughout. After a very enjoyable walk, (Appleby/Rutter Falls/Great Ormside/Appleby approx 7 miles+ and well worth doing), it was so lovely to relax in the warm, cosy lounge with soft lighting and homely features. During our stay, we received an email to check we were settled in and had everything we needed. Thankyou Cosy Nook team, we will look forward to returning very soon...

Comfy, cosy cottage.

This was beautiful place to stay. It is in a very rural setting so don't expect takeaways or restaurants nearby. I wish I had the chance to stay longer. There was fresh milk in the fridge. Tea, coffee and biscuits on the side. A really nicely put together place. I would definitely stay there again.
