"Amazing spot. Big property with 3 beach’s to choose from. Rooms and amenities are great. Hotel staff were excellent, service with a smile. Some long waits for food at restaurant but island time isn’t a bad thing! Close to the airport but a bit far from Apia and other attractions in Upolu so bring cash for taxis. Best spot to book in Samoa!"

"Breakfast buffet was great, staff were wonderful and very friendly. The wifi was the only downside as not available in rooms, so any calls to family plus checking emails had to happen in public spaces like reception or dining area. Car rental services were on pricier side. Families with younger children have been housed on the margins/ends of the property to allow for quieter time for children-free couples/travellers - thank you for being considerate! All else was magical!"

"The staff were all very helpful and friendly, particularly, Susey, Heleina & Sarafina who went the extra mile. We did have one sleepless night when the room smoke alarm gave several false alarms but this was fixed . All in all we had a great stay"

"No complaints about the room and resort but definitely an issue with service and staff. Had dinner there a couple of times and we had to wait around for a while to get served. We had to go find someone to help take our orders. "

"Tanoa is based in Apia city, walking distance to the new Savalalo markets. The rooms are tidy n clean with aircon! Towels replaced every morning but can request for more towels if need by calling the operator dial 0 calls straight through to reception. Can do your own laundry $10 samoan Tala to wash n $10 samoan Tala to dry plus $5 if need washing powder but if too busy n have no time to do your washing it's $60 Tala per load to be washed n dried by the cleaners n delivered to your room....
