Great hotel. Bad fitness suite.
So we actually have no issues with the actual hotel. We wanted a quiet stay and we got it. The food was absolutely delicious at dinner and breakfast and very well priced for the standard of food. The room was gorgeous and we really enjoyed the peacocks. But your fitness suite-the changing rooms were bogging. Firstly the changing room was freezing. All windows open. Probably because it stank. Someone had used to toilet as it was still a bit yuck and opened them. Toilet seat wet and grubby. The floor was soaking and the lockers (mine was no 8) had some sort of slimey crap at the bottom. No changing bays unless you wanted to use the showers. Was an elderly lady getting changed beside me and she complained she didn’t want to get dressed in front of everyone. Husband came out of the guys changing room and said he wouldn’t be going back into them because they were disgusting. He works outside with heavy machinery so that says a lot. But!- We liked the pool and the sauna. So hotel-top class. Will be absolutely be back. Staff so friendly. Food delicious. Just a nice feel to the place. Fitness suite-gross.

We had an overnight stay with a dance group. Reception checkin was quick. Room a good size with two seater sittee and large bed.

Lovely place with a couple of small issues
I've driven past The Dunadry a million times but this was my first stay. Very plush bedrooms, clean and warm. Reception staff and breakfast staff were a bit unresponsive/not fussed, hence the lower score. Dinner staff were lovely and dinner was tasty. I'm not keen on the self service style of breakfast as food becomes glarry or rubbery quickly until hot lights - I always prefer made to order so again this dropped the overall score. The rooms and location make this hotel a 4/5 with half a star dropped each for breakfast and reception/breakfast staff. If reception and breakfast staff smiled and were more pleasantly engaging, it would be closer to a 5 star rating.

After reading reviews about the room temperature and a stale breakfast I had my concerns, but during my stay the temperature could be changed with the valve on the radiator if the wall thermostat wasn't working and the breakfast was cooked to order and it was very good. Overall a lovely place to stay.

5 star staff at two star hotel
The staff are super friendly - and our particular receptionist who checked us in was fabulous! However - our initial room was a great distance away - with the corridors leading to it very cold ( felt like the heating was off at this part of the hotel) The TV didn’t work properly- but we were changed to a different room ( again by the really lovely receptionist)- albeit smaller and not as nice as the initial room. This room had no heating on - was freezing- I contacted reception who told us it would take 30 mins to heat up. We went down for dinner and came back to our room after 90 mins - to a freezing room. Once again had to contact reception - who came and needed to replace batteries in the radiator to make it work - we ended up just getting into bed to heat ourselves up. At breakfast I ordered hard poached eggs - which when I cut into them were runny ( I appreciate this is a personal preference of mine however..)- I told the waitress who again very politely apologised and took them away - I assumed for fresh ones? Swiftly my original plate I had returned was set in front of me - with the same busted open eggs I had cut - re poached!! I was flabbergasted. My colleague had long finished her breakfast buy the time a third plate came out to me - these too were not hard poached- but I couldn’t bare to say to the we waitress -

Very nice hotel outside Belfast
The location was perfect for our plans. The rec centre was a nice addition after spending the day touring. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Poor Housekeeping, Decent Breakfast
Ample car parking and nice public areas, however several aspects of the 6 night stay were below par. Cleanliness/housekeeping was disappointing, with flimsy pillows. A huge cobweb which stretched across the ceiling. Shower room looked recent but black mould in the shower seals and no power outlet for shaver/toothbrush. All public passage doors had "sticky" touchpanels We vacated the room 9am on one morning and returned after 4pm to find the room unserviced. Housekeeping knocked on the door 10 minutes after our return but they werent able to service the room before the days cleaning shift ended. Iron was faulty and deposited black stains when we attempted to use it. Requested a replacement but after waiting over an hour we had to leave for a prior engagement - mentioned we hadnt received the replacement iron at reception as we left. No apology, but a "No Problem" response, and the new appliance was put in our room when we returned. Overall housekeeping/maintenance was poor - one day the water bottles weren't replaced, and we discovered the bedding had been replaced with an oversize (superking ?) duvet cover with a standard (double ?) duvet which felt/looked odd Our room was ground floor with rear aspect over a paved courtyard with occasional passer-by (staff and guests) so best keep the netting curtains closed as a minimum. The courtyard also served as access way for the hotel services, so woken 7:30am by a convoy of trolleys being wheeled around. Breakfasts were satisfactory

Beautiful property and gardens with river fishing and peacocks wandering around . Delicious food and wonderful staff, can’t recommend highly enough. No complaints at all… Thanks for a most enjoyable 3 night stay.

Our stay was relaxing and very enjoyable, staff from check in to check out we're most helpful and attentive. The only thing I would suggest is the installation of soft close toilet seat in on suites.

Hotel great, pool facilities extremely poor.
Had a great stay. Lovely executive room with terrace. Great breakfast.only let down and a big let down was the swimming pool and facilities. Hot tub was not working, steam room not working and we only could last 10 minutes at most in the pool area due to a musty, bad drain smell. It was bad. We were looking forward to relaxing near the pool but it was the opposite.

Swimming pool was restricted due to swimming lessons during the day and busy with families in the evening. Room was large and comfortable but only one packet of biscuits and one sachet of hot chocolate left for double occupancy with the tea and coffee and teaspoons had to be requested.
