"This B&B is beautifully presented and located in amongst scenic countryside adjacent to beautiful coastline and hills.
The family are lovely and very welcoming. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was relaxing and quiet.
I would stay there again in a heartbeat. "
"It was such a peaceful stay. The staff were really helpful. Our room was great, really spacious and the bed was comfy. We sat in the lounge and it was so relaxing watching the birds..such a wonderful place."
"The cottage was located in a beautiful area. I did not like after booking it and paying in full that the owner demanded more money.
Thankfully some locals helped us out."
"Just a lovely spot, 5 minutes driving from town and the shore in Newcastle, 15 or so to some great hiking trails. Grounds are very nice and there’s a gentle climb down to the river, a beautiful spot on the patio to sit out for a drink or morning coffee — and the breakfast was excellent as well (I had to go for the Ulster Fry (similar to the Full English) both mornings. "Another great break at the briers. Ive stayed in the slieve donard, the avoca and the donard. The briers is easily my favourite. Beautiful surroundings, clean rooms, friendly and hospitable staff. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be back again before the end of the summer."
"It was just a quick stay, but it was wonderful! Fiona and Perry were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, with a delicious breakfast in the morning! Highly recommend staying at the Drumee Lodge!"
