"We had a really nice room which was very clean and had a comfortable bed. All of the staff we dealt with were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was memorable and we would happily stay at the hotel again."

"The hotel is in a great location but standards have slipped in the last year.
The breakfast was terrible, off fruit that was clearly days old and juice that tasted like the water that was used to wash it.
We pointed out the bad fruit to find the next day it had been converted to the tropical juice. With the same off smell. Frankly, bad oranges should be a crime in Portugal.
Pastries were fine if you want a starchy breakfast and the cooked offering was poor. Grey scrambled eggs, raw looking...

"We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—within easy walking distance of all the major sights, as well as several fantastic breakfast spots. The accommodations were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
What really stood out was the outstanding customer service. We accidentally left my husband’s mouth guard behind, and they kindly kept it safe for us until we could return to pick it up. We truly appreciated their honesty and thoughtfulness.

"Very good place, The staff was very attentions and willing to help when we needed any info. The breakfast was fresh and a good variety of breads and fresh fruits. "The pictures shown on the listing were falsely advertising the hotel. The street outside the building was not clean and the inside of the building was not maintained or in good condition, and often carried a strange smell. The walls were also very thin and every noise from another apartment or room was heard and it often kept us up at night."

"The appartment is located along steep steps, which means no traffic at your front door, but if you are with people less able to walk up or down the steep steps (with luggage or without) this appartment may not be for you. The owners are careful not to divulge that the appartment is located along these steps during the booking process, you need to look at google maps and know what to look for. "Me gustó lo limpio que estaba la habitación y todo en general. El personal muy amable. Lo único que no me gustó es que no habia jabon ni champú en los baños compartidos, y en la habitación tampoco habia aire acondicionado, solo un ventilador. Por lo demás todo bien."
