"I am writing an email to complain about an incident which occurred at your hotel when I stayed on the 20/2/26 myself and my mum had driven up to pick my 4 year old up for the weekend and decided to stay at your hotel the waterside hotel during our stay we were disturbed twice by one of your fire alarms so we had to evacuate the building in doing so we all had to wait outside during a brief inspection by the fire brigade we were allowed back into the hotel and back into our rooms. "We booked this hotel as we seen it advertised a pool table, when we arrived we found out it has been taken away. Very out dated rooms. When we arrived for breakfast the chairs in restaurant were disgusting, badly stained and all mis matched. The carpets hadnt even been hoovered and the tables where still dirty not been cleaned properly. Will not be staying there ever again. If i could give zero starts i would."

"This hotel is a great place to stay. The beds were really comfy,pillows were lovely and soft not like bricks under my head. The food was great in the restaurant plenty of choice, you can watch sports or sit in the garden. The bar has a wide range of drinks and snacks and a pool table. I found the room decor very tasteful however I did have an issue with the shower no fault of the hotel just a stupid design which a lot of the hotels have.

"Welcomed on check in. Room was clean and spacious only issue was low water pressure so struggled to wash my hair!! Not the accommodation fault it’s just one of those things. Would stay here again if coming to Chester. Great location and had breakfast here which was very nice and very good price. "

"The hotel stands in a quiet and pleasant location, easily accessible from the nearby main road and offers good onsite parking. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room comfortable if a touch dated. Corridor carpeting needs upgrading and some paintwork would benefit from attention. No restaurants nearby but evening menu onsite was quite adequate and the full English breakfast was well-cooked and presented, and certainly filling. Good value for money."
