"This is one of the best rooms we ever stayed in Europe. The room was clean, very spacious and great amenities. Our room even had a washer/dryer combo which they provided the pods to use. It is located in the heart of Old Town so everything is accessible by walking. Many restaurants, bars, and sites all around."

"This is certainly NOT a 5-star hotel. 1. Rooms are outdated & dirty. 2. A parrot lives in the dining room and freely roams where there are dishes and open food on the tables. 3. Smoking is allowed in the indoor bar causing the hotel to smell like cigarettes. 4. We were woken up every morning at 5:30am due to loading/unloading of the hotel’s laundry truck. 5. The hotel staff was unhelpful and the hotel layout was uncomfortable/strange. Do not recommend. Please stay elsewhere."

"The property was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Everything went well. My only complaint was the parking. There was no parking for guests. In lieu of daily passes that allowed me to come and go in comfort, I had to pay and estimate how long I would be parked. Incredibly inconvenient, maddening even, and very wasteful of my money. I hated that."

"All great, except the bed was so wide we had to clamber on from the end, no room to enter from the side. Good location, close to the Old Town, though still reasonably quiet. Rooms clean, staff very helpful."

"The hotel is a 15 mins taxi away from Riga airport and located very conveniently in the centre of the city. The staff were available 24/7 and were very helpful and quick to assist."

"For the price it is really great place to be. Location is central. Vibe is also good and a some artistic touches. Really liked the bedding and supplied shower accessories. stylish and quality furnitures, like huge samsung tv. Negatives: missed small minibar to keep drinks cool, some noise from street. definitely recommended place to stay."

"Last night, I ran into a young man from Japan. It was past 11 PM, and he couldn't find the entrance to the hostel at the McDonald's downstairs; there was no staff on duty to assist him. He asked me for help. After confirming that he had a reservation, I let him in. I kindly tried to help him find a bed so he could check himself in and handle the formalities at the front desk the next day, but he was extremely rigid and panicked, eventually fleeing the scene. This hostel is truly excellent, but...

"Rooms are small , location good , didn't try breakfast , staff needs to be asked , no initiative to help , parking rules ? need to stay 2 weeks in order to obtain the space , Overall reasonable economy hotel . Yes and no upgrades for Marriot Bonvoy members ."

"Excellent location and fabulous staff. Could not get wifi in our room, did not try in common area. The breakfast was very good value. Super close to everything and the nearby ALA restaurant is a must. Would recommend."
