"Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean room. Beautiful warm pool and sauna and steam room. Breakfasts were delicious. A lovely chilled and much needed break."

"All felt very dated. Walls and floors all paper thin, could hear everything from folks waking at 6am, with the addition of construction work right outside the window at 7:30am. Rooms, whilst clean, were basic and tired, and far too warm with no ability to adjust temperature. Pay and display parking (with no guest discount) is a bit odd too.
Not sure what grants this a 4*, but it certainly isn’t. Get what you pay for.

"Rooms are dated
Charge 10 pounds per person for Spa/pool yet not clearly detailed on any website!
First room bathroom had a leak and second room door wouldn’t close! Staff not very interested!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Lakes by Yoo.
Everything was clean and well designed and the pool and spa facilities were good.
Most importantly the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a minor issue with our original room so they kindly upgraded us to a suite for our final night, which we weren't able to stay in as we had to leave due to a family emergency, but the gesture was greatly appreciated.
We hope to visit again in the future! "

"Everything about the hotel was better than expected and the dog treats and bowl was a lovely touch. The staff not only made us feel welcome but also our dog. Absolutely fantastic stay"
