This is our second time at this B&B and as far as we are concerned it will always be our first choice. It is very convenient to the airport and parking for our rental car was included. The bed was comfortable and the private bath had everything that we needed. Breakfast was cooked to order and didn't lack of variety.

Mid-October Pleasant Stay
I was looking for an affordable place, with free parking and breakfast. Check in was easy - host will leave an envelope on the front door with your name, to get you in. I kind of worry for the owner's safety by doing this. Room key will be stuck in your room door. This a home, so floors and stairs make noise and walls are thin. If you're here for a homely place to just sleep, this is fine. If you're planning on taking conference or meeting calls, others will definitely hear you. Owner is kind to let people store their luggage in the living room all day and come back whenever to pick them up. I came during off-season, so did not experience tight parking issues. However, perhaps making the curvy lawn shorter might give cars more room. At night there are a lot of lamp posts, so it's well-lit. The room I stayed in confusingly had a door in the bathroom that led to the hallway - I locked it during my stay. My bathroom was the one with the big jacuzzi tub; for tall people the bathroom sink is really short and I was just under 5ft. Keep that in mind if planning to stay. There were many light switches for the bathroom and maybe labels might help differentiating which is for where. Talk with the owner to settle payment of room.

My wife and I recommend Deal’s Bed & Breakfast. We stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Deal three times for a total of seven nights in two different King rooms during our two-week trip to Alaska. Deal's was our Alaska home base for touring Anchorage, interspersed by trips to Fairbanks and Seward. The Deals were flexible and easy-going. Early departures and late arrivals were no problem. They let us leave a suitcase with them during our side trips. A transit bus stop is nearby. The neighborhood is quiet. The breakfast smorgasbord typically included sausage and eggs, potatoes, cold cereals, fruits, pastries, fruit juice, milk … and on and on. Breakfast hours were reasonable. The home was enlarged and customized to be a B&B. It seemed to have five guest rooms, each with a private bath. The decor harkens to the 1980s and features an extensive collection of pressed art glass throughout the house. The Deals have lived here for decades, and their home is a lovely reflection of their lives and their family. The human comforts — towels, beds and linens — are premium. The towels were downright luxurious. The back yard has a nice deck when the weather is suitable. We strongly recommend.
