"Laerdal hotel is gem between Oslo and Bergen. The fjord views from my balcony were absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having a spacious room with a roomy bathroom. The location is very peaceful and everything we needed for our over night stay was in walking distance. The staff was were friendly and spoke English fluently. "Excellent breakfast. The actual property hasn’t been updated in a while, but it’s kind of cool in a retro sort of way. Loss of dark cherry and oak furniture in the room along with a nice leather easy chair."

"Undeniably a gorgeous location! Communication was a problem but only at 1st. The Expedia message did not work. You have to use WhatsApp to contact them about the door code. Parking is scary if other cars are there. It's a tight squeeze to go anywhere in Undredal though. It's a one-way road, in and out. I will never forget that view though! It was definitely worth the sketchy drive!"

"Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country. We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too."
