"This is a great place to stay if going to Cedar Point. Close to restaurants and highway. This hotel had a good hot breakfast and clean, comfortable rooms. My only suggestion is that you enforce the no smoking/vaping policy. Is there a hotel anywhere that doesn't reek of weed?"

"I enjoyed my recent stay at Cedar Cove. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the premises were quiet. The continental breakfast was a huge plus. My room was pretty standard and no frills, but i also liked that there was a refrigerator and microwave. The fridge wasn't terribly cold, but it was adequate. I also would have greatly appreciated a non-slip mat in the bathtub. The motel has easy access to most things one would like to do in Sandusky: shopping, parks, the mall and restaurants are only a few minutes away. Castaway Bay is within walking distance. I'd gladly stay there again."

"We definitely enjoyed our stay here but of course there were some things we didn’t enjoy as much. PROS: First off the staff was very helpful during check in and check out. The location is convenient especially if you wanted to do some shopping or go out to eat. The size of the was was enough for our whole group (4), as we were in town for the J Cole Fall Off tour. Breakfast is free, which is always nice and there is a pool which we didn’t use. CONS: the beds (at least in our room) were not very comfortable at all. Kinda just felt like laying on springs. The breakfast IS free but wasn’t all that good. The bathroom was not really that clean as there was a some debris and a questionable brown stain on the wall next to the door. Other than that I would probably give the hotel as a whole a 3.2/10"
