"My second stay at the Tosei Cocone Okachimachi as a solo visitor. Wonderfully located for dining, shops and transport. Typically (for Japanese) small room had all I needed. A very comfortable 8 night stay. Interactions with front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and pleasant. Would stay again."
"Excellent location for public transpo tourist. About 500' to Don Quijote (like a 24 hour WalMart). Very short walk to many giant electronics stores. Free bottled water, toothbrush/paste, comb, shampoo, etc. (little things are big help when you are a tourist). 24 hour fitness room (2 machines for cardio and dumbbells with bench). Short walk to 3 train/subway stations; Akihabara, Kanda & Suehirocho. Restaurant on bottom floor with indoor and outdoor eating. 2nd story patio for relaxing. Nearby sites include fish market, Skytree, and Ueno Park. Breakfast buffet with top quality food and lots of variety is a great value, but optional if not wanted. Bicycle rental available on site. High pressure hot water shower and bidet with all the options. Has to be best hotel for tourist in Tokyo."
"Wonderful and memorable stay!
We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! Our room was very clean, comfortable, and impressively spacious. The beds were big enough for our family of four, which made our stay even more comfortable. It had a TV, as well as a dining and kitchen area with a refrigerator, and although we didn’t use the stove and washing machine, it was great having them available. The bathroom was another highlight, featuring a bathtub and a separate shower area—perfect for relaxing after a long day out.
The location was excellent and very convenient, very close to Ueno train stations, which made getting around incredibly easy. The staff were fantastic—very friendly, helpful, and able to speak English, which made everything so much easier. It was truly a memorable stay on our first trip to Japan, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Highly recommend, and we’ll surely be back soon! "
