Very clean! Hotel has been updated & every thing is very nice & fresh. Hotel staff was very accommodating when the TV, refrigerator & microwave wouldn’t work. Someone had removed the adapter. The staff immediately moved us to another room across the hall. The usual breakfast which was as good as any. No charge for our dog. Will definitely stay there again

Aging facility and the bathrooms were very average... no hair dryer. Limited breakfast. Friendly staff to welcome you but you have to ring a bell to have someone come out and help you. That is a trend that needs to stop.

The first room we were directed to hadn’t been cleaned, so the member of staff promptly apologized and got us a key to a different room. It may have been because of the mix up that this room was less than desirable. There was no place to hang our clothes, the wiring for several of the lights was exposed, etc. There wasn’t a room number on the door, so I think they were renovating it. The most disturbing thing, though, was that there was a mystery portal in the shower, which made me suspect a camera. Creepy.

Not bad for the price

Bed was comfortable, decor was beautiful. Great customer service however there was dust built up on the lamps and behind the doors. Mold was growing above the shower

Adequate in Ames

The Super 8 in Ames was OK, except that I saw a small spider in the bathroom (not moving while I looked at it, but later I saw that it had moved into a corner.) Otherwise, the room was comfortable enough. The breakfast options were nice.

Hallways were very dark. Access was limited for handicapped people (walking down ramp was awkward and took time.) Bathroom fixtures were very small and low. Rooms were clean. Breakfast and coffee were good.
