We had a fantastic stay at Sorrisniva. Everything was perfect. We count not fault anything from the staff experience to the actual hotel and ambiance.

We had an amazing experiance staying at Sorrisniva. The room was 10/10. Everything about our stay from the dinner at Maku to the drinks,the bed to the breakfast, was amazing. We will be back, and we will recomend this to everyone.

Fantastic!!

The hotel itself is lovely and the staff are very friendly. Bedrooms are a good size with lovely bathrooms and amazing views. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. The restaurant Makku was excellent however you cannot really eat there every night. Lavvu which is the other restaurant is nice however when you were there for more than two or three days the menu is a bit repetitive. the excursions were excellent and the guides were fantastic. Overall an incredible stay and a great experience.

Beautiful location, stylish rooms and excellent staff. The fine dining restaurant and its tasting menu was terrific. So was the food in the Lavvu restaurant although I hope they expand the menu to include more choices in the future. Breakfast was buffet and plentiful. We stayed a night at the Ice Hotel which was a fun experience. We also went on two excursions with them which we enjoyed. I write for the blog Paradox Travels and will do an extended review there. So if interested, look us up and read a more extensive review with photos there in the upcoming month.

Great experience

I have seen a lot of hotels around the world. This hotel is a very special one. Excellent in all terms! Nature, rooms, food, service, set of breakfast, just name it! Well, if you need a tv-set in your room > this hotel is not for you. We were not even thinking about missing features! The photos will not give you the real picture and feeling of this great place!

Wonderful

Oh my a very well thought out design with rooms overlooking the river/stream. Nice balcony and every opportunity to see the Northern Lights in your room and on your balcony! A bit out from the town which was extra nice but not too far either! Daniel & Lars greeted us warmly! Auskin served our meal and was a fun bonus to our stay. Sonja made our morning with such a kind smile as we had breakfast! (Sorry for misspelling names!). We rested well. The hot chocolate was fantastic…thank you to all for a wonderful stay!

Amenities at the resort were wonderful. I really appreciated the staff helping with scheduling all of our activities for us before we arrived. Food in both restaurants excellent. Rooms are very large and comfortable with a lovely view. We also enjoyed the spa. Front desk was very helpful. A special recognition for the staff member from Greece (I'm sorry that I do not remember his name), but he was especially helpful and welcoming. One suggestion: we asked about transportation to Trasti and Trine. A person at the desk offered to give us a ride in the van and pick us up. I tipped them for their effort - but was very surprised when presented with a hefty bill the next day. I should have been told the 10 minute ride would cost > $130 each way. Otherwise, everything was wonderful

Absolutely amazing!

We had an amazing stay! The hotel is beautiful and view from the room is just stunning. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Before arrival I contacted the reception and the helped us with a program, booked tours and activities and transport to/from the airport. The activities where uniq experiences like dogsledding and nothern lights tour. Hiking is also possible in the beautiful landscape. The breakfast is delicious and dinner in the Maku Restaurant is exatraordinary. I highly recommend to visit Sorrisniva.

Yö 30 asteisessa hotellihuoneessa

Aivan täydellinen hotelli sijainnin ja palveluiden osalta. Ravintolassakin kertakaikkisen hyvä menu. MUTTA onnistuneelle yöpymiselle ja majoituksen mukavuudelle oli pakko antaa huonot pisteet huoneen lämpötilan takia. Hotels.comin sivustolla huoneen kuvauksessa mainittiin ilmastointi. Hotellin omalla sivustolla (kun tuohtuneena sitä paikan päällä tarkastelin) ilmastointia ei kylläkään mainita. Huoneessamme oli tullessa lämpötila 31 astetta, yön aikana laski 26 asteeseen pation oven ollessa auki ja paikalta saadun ’ilmastointilaitteen’ hyrrätessä täysillä. Mitään hyvitystä huoneen hinnasta emme saaneet, ainoastaan saimme veloituksetta perua toisen yön (kun olimme tehneet varauksen kahdesta yöstä). Tämä jäi harmittamaan. Hotellin johto ei reagoinut tilanteeseen oikealla tavalla. Tämän tason hotellissa 30 asteen huonelämpötila ei ole hyväksyttävä.
