The location is beautiful, peaceful and quiet and is the perfect place to stay for making day trips to visit all the sights in the Highlands. "The Lovat at Loch Ness is a charming and stylish lakeside hotel. The property has two lovely lounges, even a grand piano, and is equipped with an elevator — a thoughtful touch. Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight: besides the classic Highland Breakfast, we tried the Kedgeree (smoked haddock with curried rice and poached egg), which was absolutely delicious and a wonderful Scottish surprise.

Steve and Diane were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The eggs Benedict for breakfast was excellent.
Overall, a lovely guest house with a few added, hidden touches to be experienced.
