Great ambiance, beautiful decor, friendly staff, and delicious locally sourced breakfast; my husband and I had an incredible two-night stay here and would visit again in a heartbeat.

.arrived after long day of biking only to find our reservations could not be honored because the gave our rooms to a larger group. Never received a cancellation notice. We did find another hotel at same price that was much nicer.

Very nice location; walk to the beach or into the old town was easy. Room was comfortable. The shower, of course, had the usual European design that spreads water on the bathroom floor, which was a bit tricky for my wife who has mobility problems. There was also a metal shelf placed along the bedroom wall which was a bit of a hazard. We liked the wheelchair lift to the dining area. On the other hand, also typically European, the thresholds for every doorway were awkward for a wheelchair with small wheels. Meals were excellent; breakfast buffet had lots of choice. Part of the visit occurred when the restaurant had closed for rennovations and guests ate in the bar. Dinner coincided with a big rain storm that caused a bad leak over the bar, yet staff and guests together were cheerful and helpful, almost enjoying the sense of catastrophy. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay, good value and very convenient to KĂžge. Don't miss a side trip to the park at VallĂž Castle, which is a short drive south from the hotel.

Wonderful, welcoming place! Very clean and pretty rooms, a delicious spread for breakfast featuring almost all local goods, and a spot for a freezing cold dip outside in the sea next to a sauna, should you dare. What could be better?!

Bornholms dejligste hotel

Gammelt hotel med fin beliggenhed og venligt personale. Meget knirkende gulve, sÄ man kunne hÞre, nÄr der blev gÄet i nabovÊrelserne. Kun 10 parkeringspladser til hotellet, hvoraf 4 var til elbiler. SÄ man skulle finde alternativ parkering i gader og pÄ pladser rundt om.

Fint hotel med super beliggenhed.

Rigtig fint hotel med super beliggenhed sĂ„ man kan gĂ„ til/fra Allinge by. Morgenmaden var fin -ikke imponerende men i orden. Dog hang de lidt i bremsen pĂ„ at fylde op i “rush hour”. VĂŠrelserne var pĂŠne og rene. Personalet sĂžde og imĂždekommende.

LÀget pÄ hotellet var toppen, men dÀr slutat det positiva. Stod i beskrivningen att det var daglig stÀdning, men ingen stÀdade vÄrt rum. Ett hopplock av udda möbler pÄ vÄrt rum. Ett kylskÄp stÀllt pÄ ett udda stÀlle pÄ golvet. SÀngarna och frukost ok. Hotellet gav generellt ett halvdant intryck, trots att de sÀkert gjort ett försök att fixa till hotellet.

Dejlig morgenmad men vores vÊrelse var pÄ 2. sal. Der var skrÄ vÊgge som sengen stod under det var svÊrt at komme i den. Man skulle selv be om at fÄ vÊrelset gjort rent vi boede der i 6 nÊtter vi fik gjort rent 1 gang. Gangen lugtede grimt nok pga de gamle tÊpper. Vi gav over 9000 for opholdet sÄ det var for dyrt i forhold til hvad vi fik.

Okay ophold, lidt smÄt med pladsen, bÄde i forhold til morgenmad pÄ hotellet, ret mogget og simpelt. VÊrelserne meget smÄ, mangler plads til ens ting, intet fjernsyn. Og ingen plads til toiletsager pÄ et meget lille badevÊrelse.

Vi har haft en rigtig skĂžn weekend pĂ„ Strandhotellet. Pia og Steffen tog utrolig godt imod os og udviste stor service, med masser af imĂždekommenhed. VĂŠrelset var sĂ„ fint i bĂ„de stĂžrrelse og indretning og sengen virkelig god. Dejlig morgenmad med hjemmebagte boller og fint udvalg af drikkevarer, pĂ„lĂŠg, skyr og diverse. Vi kommer gerne igen og smider 5 stjerner efter Strandhotellet. En rigtig god oplevelse. ✹
