There's not much nearby and you'll have to go to the nearest little town for needs. The walk is a bit dicey along winding mountain roads with no sidewalks, but there is a bus you can take for 2 stops too. The people who work there/own the hotel are incredible, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! They picked up our luggage at the nearby...

"Just do it! This is the most amazing place I have ever stayed in all my travels, and truly has been the highlight of my trip to Taiwan. The people were generous and kind, the food was the best I’ve had in this country (definitely book the hot pot dinner!), and the rooms are charming, comfortable, and impeccably clean.
