Great find. Warm welcome. Homely. Comfortable. Built their 70s home themselves! Generous breakfast. Happy to provide transport. Only 3k walk to town. Pleased I found Kathy and Karl's place.

We stayed in the family room which was very spacious with a sliding door leading to a very large and pleasant garden outside. The family room has its own modern bathroom. Good breakfasts with fresh eggs straight from chickens on the premises and Kathy made us feel at home. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, 5 minutes drive to town.

We drove from Uluru to Alice Springs in the evening and only arrived the B&B almost 2am. The host was kind enough to wait for us and let us check in at this hour. Huge room for the two of us. Breakfast was great and the house have a big garden where you can see birds. Would definitely recommend visitors to stay here while in Alice Springs

Kathy is a very friendly and helpful host. Her breakfast is first class, very homely and substantial. Our stay was extremely good value for money. The only disadvantage is the distance of the house from public transport but as we have a car, that is not a problem.

Kathy and Karl were perfect hosts and went out of their way to make us feel welcome in their home. The bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend to any guests staying in Alice who want a homely stay :)

Hosts were welcoming for the most part. Room appeared clean, albeit a little chaotic. Air conditioner was turned off at 9pm which made it difficult to breathe. I felt safe and my privacy was respected.

Home from home
Kathy picked me up from the airport and took me back where I met Karl. A charming couple who were so friendly and kind. I only stayed one day but Kathy saw me off the next morning very very early with a great breakfast.

Got picked up at the airport. They arranged a shuttlebus to the airport for about $16. Nice people, good breakfast, good bed Wi-Fi, swimmingpool. A great stay.

I slept incredibly well in a very quiet room! The hosts are both lovely and interesting people and the set-up of the B&B encouraged a feeling of camaraderie among the guests.

The room accomadations were clean and okay. The beds were well used and the mattress could be replaced. Breakfast was fix your own cold cereal a bit disappointing. Felt the staff was a little unfriendly and cool.

Our rooms are used most days and the beds have had good responses from guests. As explained, cooked breakfast between 5 -7:30 am continual breakfast after this time. Staff confused by lack of communication of guests, so did not interfere to their activities.

Beautiful hospitality!
What a wonderful hospitality! I stayed before the tour. Kathy cooked breakfast for me at 5 in the morning and drove me to my pick up location in the dark. She also phoned the tour company to confirm my pick up point when she picked me up from the airport! I really appreciate your help. I felt like staying at a friends' place - enjoyed our chat beside a nice and warm fireplace.. Staying here was definitely the highlight of Alice Springs.
