Tally-Ho Inn
8/10 Good
"The cabin was very basic but has everything you need if you plan to eat most meals out. The chairs and picnic table on the open grassy area with a view of the lake are nice but wish there were more than 2 chairs for a cabin that holds 4. There are no laundry facilities on site which would be handy. You do hear the traffic noise when sitting out front of the cabin. But still good value for the price."
Hidden Valley Resort, an Ascend Collection Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Awesome resort to stay at. Every time we visit it gets better. Love the new look!"
Algonquin Lakeside Resort
8/10 Good
"It was just okay. NOT worth $295.00/night. The room was very impersonal and cold. The A/C was left ON for a very cool raining day. When I walking in was greeted by a fridge sensation atmosphere. The website pictures of the place did NOT make justice to the real place as a cozy and warm room. The fireplace was NOT working to give it a sense of warmth, also no microwave to make a cup of tea or cook packed foods, and the restaurant at the property was also NOT open. I had to drive out looking for a place to eat. Not worth the money. Wouldn’t stay there again or recommend."
Muskoka Waterfront Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"Great location right on Lake of Bays, perfect for paddling on the Oxtongue River or swimming and paddle boarding off the dock. The dock offered a great dark sky to see the stars on comfy Muskoka Chairs. Also really appreciated the way the property is illuminated with sensors, helping you feel safe and able to navigate the property in the evenings. The cabin was simple, yet well stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend. The chairs, sofa and bed were all comfortable. Very clean inside. Felt the bathroom was a bit tight; however for 2 nights it wasn't an issue. Only request is for more prompt and personalized communication when asking a question. I sent the same question a few times while on property and received a templated response that was never followed up on. In the end, it was not important; however had it been this could have been an issue."
Dwight Riverside Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Great outdoor area, clearly made with care, with a small playground, swings, BBQs, and plenty of green space. Pet-friendly and just minutes away from Algonquin Park."
Blue Water Acres
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time. Friendly staff and well kept cottages with full supplies. So many activities and amenities. Wish the pool/hot tub were bigger but definitely a bonus to have on site. We hope to return in the future!"
Dwight Village Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean. Service prompt and courteous"
Colonial Bay Motel and Cottages
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed for a couple of nights and it was amazing, super nice location and a perfect way to relax.. Didn't want to leave!"
White Birches Cottages
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed with my family for two nights. The cottage is very quiet even though the cottages are located in close proximity to each other. The check in and check out was simple and easy. There are plenty of water activities available to take part in (paddle board, canoes, and kayak). We would stay here again. "
