"Solea Mactan Resort
Beware of this resort that is claiming to be a 4 star resort
Building/Structure:
it seems that this hotel only opened in 2019 if im not mistaken but the structures look very old and worn down
And not well maintained
Breakfast:
The room is for 4 people but only 2 people are covered for breakfast. Additional persons over 5 years old are 450php per person
Earth Restaurant- the restaurant next to the pool does not allow anyone in wet clothes

"The hotel is ok. But The food and drinks is over priced, packed and some of the pool are not clean. And i need to call housekeeper to clean our room when we 1st arrived coz so dusty especially the floor."

" I was honestly disappointed with our stay. They hotels are nothing like the pictures on the websites. Including Expedia. The buildings are older. I was especially disappointed with the pools. There was debris floating in some of the pools. The stay was great. They buffet was also nice and had a nice selection of food. I paid for the room in full on the Expedia website, but you're forced to put a 4,000 Philippine peso deposit down, which is returned when you check out. The beach was okay, but...

"The staff were helpful and accommodating during my stay. However, the front desk staff could be a bit more friendly and welcoming to guests. The room was nice overall, but there was an unpleasant odor in the room, and the toilet bowl in the bathroom had not been properly cleaned upon arrival. The pool was not available to use and was not able to enjoy it, and that was a little disappointing."

"There were no hand towel in the bathroom. I tried to ask for it from the front desk but they refused. The bath towels looked dirty with big brown stains on them. The foot towel looked more dirty. Not sure because of it's color or poorly washed. The lights in the room and bathroom were too dim. All the rest were good."
