"A beautiful property in a secluded location, with grounds for a short walk round to pass maybe 20 minutes. Clean and well sized one bedroom apartment. Didn't manage to use the pool but didn't seem busy when passing and this was in May. Would have been more than perfect if it wasn't for the poor WiFi and the dog mess near the pond. So be careful if you're walking in the grass."

"Excellent room, we had an executive suite and the view was marvellous as was the huge four poster bed. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we've had, proper cumberland sausages - what can I say!. Staff were also excellent especially Joanne the manager who went above and beyond to make our 4 night stay very enjoyable. We had 2 meals in the hotel pub and again the food was of a very high standard, one meal was a sunday roast which I found absolutely superb. Will definitely stay here...

All the staff were really lovely but the lady in reception who dealt with us was especially helpful to us. The breakfast was really nice too. "Firstly checked in to find previous guests clothes in wardrobe, then the spa bath didn't work even though we were supposed to have been upgraded , then there was about 6 months dust on top of four poster bed ,the bed was broken and only fixed by a 3mm screw ( dangerous) . Was moved to a twin room for 1 night then put in superior room only to find someone's tablet under the bed runner which should of been clean linen clearly not . Put in a complaint to manager and hasn't even had the decency to...
