"We picked this as an off-chance for a one night stay on the day we arrived at Chania airport. Our expectations were limited but the hotel completely exceeded them. The views are terrific, the pool is lovely and the swimming platform that extends out to sea is a great addition to a property that has no beach. We liked it so much that we came back for a second night before our flight home. In terms of location, we had been a little concerned about aircraft noise but this wasn't an issue. You probably need a car if you want to look around the area / go out to eat elsewhere at night, although I think there may be a bus into Chania. We stayed in two different rooms. The standard room was a little lacking in equipment e.g. a kettle would be nice. The superior room was much better equipped with kettle and coffee maker. The breakfast was probably the best we had in Crete. All in all, I would stay here again without even stopping to think. Loved it!"

"This is a complex that is hard to fault. The room and grounds are kept exceptionally well with not a thing out of place. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location suited us perfectly, was quiet, and peaceful. The pool was good, never very busy and the closeness to the sea was excellent. We received a nice welcome gift of breakfast foods wine and Raki which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend without hesitation."

"The property was in a wonderful location. It was so nice to escape for a week after first visiting Athens. It felt like a true getaway. The cove in the property was one of the best places we've ever swam in. Our room had a great view of the sunset from right outside our window. Within a 3 minute walking distance to the beach which also allowed for some great swims. When we didn't feel like going out of the property to eat, we were able to get a well cooked meal in the bar area. We'll definitely be staying the next time we're in the Chania area."

"Our family of 6 stayed in this very lovely, clean villa in Kalathas, Crete, which is a wonderful location. The beach near the Villa is beautiful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas (you have to pay for them)! We did drive to the beach which is about 1 mile away. The Villa is only a 15-20 minute drive to Chania. The pool was beautiful and clean. There are 12 apartments, and it was quiet and serene. We really enjoyed our stay which slept 6 people comfortably. Sandy was extraordinary and made sure we had what we needed. I would recommend bringing a small fan or two. The bedrooms were air-conditioned but not the main living area. We loved our stay. Thank you!"
