"The carpet floor in our room needed cleaning. When I had arrived I had explained briefly to the receptionist that I'm here for my mum's funeral the two nights I stayed at this hotel I couldn't sleep well . I then had try to get over my mum's funeral. I needed rest before I start my long journey back home to Suffolk. I Sadly left I hour and thirty minutes later leaving my room by not leaving by 11.am.I went to the reception to explain my situation regarding my bereavement of my loss of my mum. I had no sympathy from the reception when I left and I had to pay a late search charge of £10.00 not happy."

"Lovely stay at the Liner. Position perfect, a bit noisy through the night as windows don’t seem to keep it out, but that’s a city for you- road sweepers traffic and sirens. Happy hour at the attached public bar was good value 4-6pm at 2 for 1 😊 Breakfast was good."

"I’m afraid to say that this hotel was in a terrible state. The place stunk, hygiene awful and I’m supprised that hotel.com have it on their site. Will think twice before booking with them in the future."

"The accomodation is in a little rough place but safe. Think of it like New york in Liverpool. Very spacious. Would def book again"

"Everything was great , Evan check during the evening to make sure we’re was ok , help with our luggage (we had a lot) would stay there again if in Waterloo, very clean and large room wi-fi worked well. Was able to get a bus right across the street. Thank you for a wonderful stay"

"A little difficult to find. The car parks are spread out around the building so it was possible to find a space even when the part in front of the hotel was full. The hotel is a little dated but is a perfectly pleasant, and relatively cheap, place to stay."

"I loved Liverpool POD!!!!!!!! That was my first time in a dormitory and was very well surprised with their good prices as well!! It's small but it's based in a area that is not noisy like the city centre, so 100% I'll be back there every time I need to come in UK!! Thanks to TIM the owner who was super kind!!"

"Room clean you would expect , bed was comfortable with good linen with staff helpful and friendly. Free car parking."
